HOLLOW FORMS
Hollow Forms are closed vessels that are completely hollowed. As with vases, hollow forms are very difficult to turn. My Hollow Forms are turned free hand and I enjoy incorporating the natural effects of the wood in my shape. All of my hollow forms have consistent wall thickness that typically starts at 1/16”-3/16” and slightly tapers to the base for strength. Wall thickness is measured by calipers and trued by sight, sound, and feel.
